WHO WE ARE
The Niner Times is UNC Charlotte’s campus newspaper that is published every Tuesday during the school year. It is produced entirely by a student staff or more than 100 and has consistently won collegiate publishing awards and received national recognition for marketing and advertising design. The Niner Times is produced through Student Niner Media which is also home to NinerTimes.com, Sanskrit Literary-Arts Magazine, Radio Free Charlotte Niner Media Technical.

Our Audience
UNC Charlotte is North Carolina’s urban research university. It leverages its location in the state’s largest city to offer internationally competitive programs, and a focused set of community engagement initiatives. UNC Charlotte is the largest institution of higher education in the Charlotte region. The university has experienced rapid enrollment growth of 33% over the past 10 years, making it the fastest-growing institution in the UNC System and contributing to more than 50% of the system’s growth since 2009.
